Study on Properties of Flame Retarded PC/Polyaluminosiloxane Composites

摘要: 采用水解缩合法,通过改变烷硅比(R/Si)及有机侧基中的苯基、甲基比(Ph/Me),制备了一系列聚铝硅氧烷阻燃剂,研究了该聚铝硅氧烷对聚碳酸酯(PC)力学性能和维卡软化点的影响。结果表明,聚铝硅氧烷对PC的弯曲强度影响较小,可明显提高PC的拉伸强度和缺口冲击强度,在PC中添加5 %的聚铝硅氧烷后,缺口冲击强度最大可提高31 %。聚铝硅氧烷含量低于8 %时,PC的维卡软化点得到提高。

Abstract: A series of polyaluminosiloxane flame retardants was synthesized through cohydrolysis condensation reaction with varied R/Si and Ph/Me ratios. The influence of the polyaluminosiloxane on the mechanical properties and Vicat softening temperature of PC was investigated. It indicated that the addition of the polyaluminosiloxane had less effect on the flexural strength of the PC, and improved both the tensile strength and the notch impact strength of the PC. Especially, when 5 % polyaluminosiloxane was added to the PC, the notch impact strength of the PC was increased by 31 %. The Vicat softening temperature of the PC was also improved when 8 % or less polyaluminosiloxane was added.
