油酸改性纳米Mg(OH)2的制备及其对PE-HD阻燃性能的影响

Preparation of OA Modified NanoMg(OH)2 and Its Effect on Flame Retardancy of PE-HD

摘要: 采用直接沉淀法,利用油酸为改性剂,制备出了表面改性的纳米氢氧化镁(nano-MH),利用接触角仪、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、红外光谱仪(FTIR)和综合热分析仪(TG-DSC)等手段对产物进行了测试和表征。结果表明,经过表面改性后的nanoMH具有良好的疏水性能。将改性后的nanoMH按不同比例填充到高密度聚乙烯(PE-HD)中进行混炼造粒和模压成型,进行阻燃性能的研究。结果表明:随着纳米粒子添加量的增加,PE-HD/nanoMH复合体系的极限氧指数得到显著提高,添加15 %nanoMH时,PE-HD的极限氧指数由16.8 %提高到21.5 %。

Abstract: Using a method of direct precipitation, nano magnesium hydroxide (nanoMH) was prepared and modified with oleic acid (OA). The structure and morphology of the nanoMH powders were characterized using contact angle measuring instrument, XRD, TEM, FTIR, and TGDSC.It showed that OA was adsorbed on the surface of nanoMH powders and effectively decreases its surface energies, and hence greatly increased the contact angle. The nanoMH was introduced into PEHD forming a composite through pressing molding. It was found that the limited oxygen index was greatly enhanced by oleic acid treating, the limiting oxygen index increased from 16.8 % to 21.5 % when the nanoMH content was 15 %.
