Effect of PP-g-MAH on Mechanical Property of Linen Fiber-reinforced PE-HD Composites

摘要: 通过双螺杆挤出造粒,制备了亚麻纤维增强高密度聚乙烯(PE-HD)复合材料,研究了相容剂马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯(PP-g-MAH)含量对于复合材料性能改善的效果。结果表明:复合材料力学性能得到了显著的提升,其中拉伸强度、弯曲强度和冲击强度最大值分别为32.75、37.21、43 kJ/m2;PP-g-MAH含量为5 %或者10 %时复合材料具有相对较好的力学性能;PP-g-MAH的加入能提高复合材料的耐热性,降低复合材料力学损耗。

Abstract: High density polyethylene(PE-HD)/linen fiber composites were prepared by a twin-screw extruder. When maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene(PP-g-MAH)was introduced, the mechanical properties of the composites were greatly enhanced. The maximum values of tensile, bending, and impact strengths, 32.75 MPa, 37.21 MPa, and 43 kJ/m2, respectively, were observed when the content of PP-g-MAH between 5 % and 10 %. Dynamic mechanical test showed that the introducing of PP-g-MAH enhanced the heat resistance and reduced the mechanical loss of the composites.
