Gas-assisted Injection Molding with Different Flow Patterns of Injection Gas

摘要: 对气辅成型冷却过程的温度场进行了数据模拟,通过对持续注射氮气聚合物气体辅助注射成型(GAIM)冷却过程的合理假设,采用结晶温度区间的平均散热代替结晶潜热和第三类对流传热边界条件,使用MATLAB对高密度聚乙烯(PE-HD)GAIM冷却过程进行了数据模拟;通过实验测定了不同注射氮气压力下的流速并验证模拟温度场。结果表明:冷却温度场的模拟和实测值基本吻合,其模拟结果对于制件多层次结构的预测和气辅工艺参数的优化有重要的指导意义。

Abstract: In this paper, temperature distribution of cooling stage of GAIM was studied via numerical simulation. Under some reasonable assumptions during the cooling stage of GAIM, the temperature distribution of PE-HD parts was studied via the numerical simulation using software package MATLAB, which used the average heat instead of crystallization latent heat in crystallization temperature interval and the boundary condition was second category of convective heat transfer boundary condition. The velocity of N2 with different pressure was determined and the simulated temperature field was verified by experiment. The experimental results showed that the simulation value of cooling temperature field was consistent with experiment value.
