Abstract: This article reviewed the oversea and domestic research status of transparent polypropylene (PP), and briefly summarized the preparation methods, transparent mechanisms, and the main factors that affect the transparency of PP, including the amount of nucleating and toughening agents added, the structure of PP, and extrusion technology, etc. Finally, some suggestions were proposed for the research and development of transparentPP.
