POE-g-MAH对r-PET/PP共混体系相形态及流变行为的影响

Effect of POE-g-MAH on Morphology and Rheological Behavior of r-PET/PP Blends

摘要: 以马来酸酐接枝乙烯-辛烯共聚物(POE-g-MAH)为相容剂,通过熔融共混技术对回收聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯/聚丙烯(r-PET/PP)共混体系进行增容改性,采用扫描电子显微镜和动态流变仪等研究了POE-g-MAH含量对r-PET/PP共混体系相形态和流变行为的影响。结果表明,随着POE-g-MAH含量的增加,r-PET/PP共混体系中PP平均粒径逐步减小,且分布更加均匀;添加5 %(质量分数,下同) POE-g-MAH的r-PET/PP共混材料,PP颗粒嵌入r-PET基体材料中,PP平均粒径由未增容时的(2.71±2.65) μm减小为(1.18±0.62) μm,两相间界面模糊,r-PET的玻璃化转变温度向低温方向移动,r-PET和PP相容性明显提高;添加POE-g-MAH后,增大了r-PET与PP分子链间的缠结程度,使得r-PET/PP共混体系的复数黏度、储能模量和损耗模量明显提高,体系弹性增强,共混材料缺口冲击强度明显提高,弯曲强度略有下降。

Abstract: Maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene-octene copolymer (POE-g-MAH) was used as a compatibilizer in the blends of recycled poly(ethylene terephthalate) (r-PET) and polypropylene (PP). The effect of POE-g-MAH on the morphology and rheological behavior of the r-PET/PP blends was investigated using SEM and dynamic rheometer, etc. It was found that the average size diameter of PP domains in the blends decreased with increasing POE-g-MAH content. When POE-g-MAH content was 5 wt %, the average size of PP decreased from 2.71±2.65 for uncompatibiliezd blends to 1.18±0.62 μm. In addition, the interface between the two phases became vague, and the Tg of r-PET shifted to lower temperatures, indicating a remarkable improvement of compatibility between r-PET and PP. The addition of POE-MAH increased the entanglement between r-PET and PP leading to a remarkable increase in complex viscosity, storage modulus, loss modulus, as well as the notched impact strength, however, the ?exural strength decreased slightly.
