Abstract: The disadvantages of single-plate screen changing devices were analyzed based on the characteristic of polypropylene melt-blown resin. A double-plate screen changing device was proposed in which the original two-station design was replaced with a four-station one. The problems such as breakage and leakage of polypropylene melt during the screen changing were avoided, and continuous and low-cost production was achieved.
