Abstract: A procedure for automatic acquisition of experimental data was designed. On-line data-acquisition (DAQ) system and calculation of the kinetic friction coefficient based on Maths function of the LabVIEW were obtained for pressure, torque, and temperature. Variation of the kinetic friction coefficient at different pressure, temperature, rotate speed and the material fineness was compared and analyzed. The experimental result showed that the kinetic friction coefficient decreased with increasing pressure. Properties of different powder had a great effect on the kinetic friction coefficient. The kinetic friction coefficient of the PTFE was the minimum, and the kinetic friction coefficient of rubber powders increased with increasing particle size.
