Abstract: The effect of staggering angle and width of kneading block of the intermeshing co-rotating twin-screw extruder on the degradation of polypropylene (PP) in granulation process were studied. It showed that with increasing staggered kneading disc angle and kneading plate thickness, the degradation of PP increased.
