Abstract

Abstract: The influence of inorganic fillers, POE, PE-LLD, and nucleating agent on the shrinkage of polypropylene was studied. When glass fiber, POE, PE-LLD of 30wt% was incorporated separately, the shrinkage of polypropylene reduce from its devoid value of 1.6 7% to 0.34 %, 1.16 %, and 1.39 %, respectively. Other thermoplastic plastics and nucleating agent may also cause the decrease of the shrinkage.
