Extrusion Molding Technique of Automobile Polyamide Corrugated Tubular Product

Abstract

Abstract:

This paper introduced the production technology for the extrusion molding of polyamide corrugated tubes and analyzed the factors affecting the quality of polyamide corrugated tubes. These factors include the raw material moisture content， drying time， molding temperature and speed， and mold design. The method for determination of the diameter of tube tools， and the calculation formula of pin diameter was emphasized. The start?up procedure of the extrusion molding， the precautions during production， and the correspondence between the length of support rod and the number of modules were described. To control the module， it was emphasized that the optimal mold cavity clearance and maximum temperature were determined to be 1.3 mm 40 °C. The technique for centering the molding cavity and die and the technique for adjusting the wall thickness of products were described. The common quality problems arising in the production were discussed and their solutions were analyzed.

外表面波纹形状不规则	①波纹成型模块合模时有错位。②模块传动齿轮磨损严重，同步运行时有累积误差，导致模块运行一段时间后产生错位。③挤出机螺杆转速不稳定，使挤出熔料量不一致，成型管坯外形出现误差较大。④压缩空气的压力不稳，使吹胀成型波纹形状有较大形状误差。⑤熔料温度或口模温度偏高或偏低，使熔料成型困难。	①重新调整模块的运行速度同步或调整模块合模后准确对正。②维修或更换传动齿轮。③检修螺杆传动系统的故障。④调整供气压力稳定。⑤适当降低或升高熔料温度或口模温度。
表面无光泽	①熔料温度偏低，原料塑化不良。②冷却水温度偏高。③管坯定型口模平直段长度不足，定径压力小。④压缩空气压力或真空负压不足。	①适当提高机筒和模具的温度。②降低冷却水温度。③改进模具结构尺寸。④适当提高定径压力。
管材脆	①塑化不均，熔料温度控制不稳定，熔料温度偏高或偏低，熔料的温度忽高忽低温差过大。②原料中水分或杂质含量超标。③管坯模具压缩比小，模具内压力不足，使管壁成型质量差。	①控制熔料温度稳定。②对原料进行干燥处理。③改进模具结构。
管内壁有裂纹或波纹	①管内壁成型空气压力过高，导致管壁出现裂纹或波浪纹。②冷却水温度偏高③成型模具内的压缩比偏小，导致分流锥支架处的熔料汇合接缝熔合强度低，易产生裂纹。	①适当调整管壁成型空气的压力。②适当降低水温。③适当提高模具内结构对熔料的压缩比。
管内壁有纵向划痕	①成型管内壁的芯模上有划痕或有残料黏附。②有润滑剂粘在气堵上。	①修光划痕或除净芯模上残料。②清除气堵上的残料。
管材弯曲	①料温偏高。②模块温度偏高，冷却定型不足。③压缩空气压力或真空负压不足。④壁厚不均。偏壁严重。对中性未调好。	①降低熔融温度。②降低冷却水温度或增加冷却水流量。③适当提高定径压力。④调好对中性。
壁厚不均匀	①口模偏心。②塑化不均引起出料不均。③口模、成型模块不在同一轴线。④机头温度不合适。	①调好口模对中性。②适当提高机筒和模具的温度。③使口模、成型模块在同一轴线。④适当调整机头温度。
模唇挂料	①口模温度不当（通常是偏高）。②熔体温度偏高。③熔融物中有气体或湿气。④熔融物中添加剂分散较差。	①调整口模温度。②适当降低机筒温度。③充分干燥原料。④更换为合适的原料。
管胚偏心	①口模和芯模位置未调整到位。②口模周围温度不平衡，如夏天电风扇对着口模方向吹，以及抽风系统正对口模上方都容易造成模具局部温度偏低。③加热圈设计不合理。④口模内部由于材料降解或设计原因等因素，造成在此处的流动性发生变化。	①调整口模和芯模位置。②使口模周围温度平衡。③更换为合适的加热圈。④清理口模或更换设计合理的口模。
