氮化硼和氧化镁复配对导热绝缘PA10T复合材料性能的影响

Synergistic Effect of Boron Nitride and Magnesia on the Properties of Thermally Conductive and Electrically Insulative PA10T Composites

摘要: 采用氮化硼微球粉末和球状氧化镁作为复配导热填料,少量短切玻璃纤维作为增强填料,制备了导热绝缘耐高温聚对苯二甲酰癸二胺(PA10T)复合材料。考察了在玻璃纤维含量和导热填料总含量分别为10 %(质量分数,下同)和60 %不变的前提下,氮化硼和氧化镁的复配比例对复合材料的导热、力学和流动性能的影响。结果表明,当氮化硼和氧化镁的质量比为20∶40时,2种填料之间产生了良好的复配协同效果,所制备的复合材料的法向热导率最高,可达3.5 W/m·K;在复配填料含量相同的前提下,氮化硼/氧化镁的质量比越高,材料的力学性能越差,流动性也越差。

Abstract: Thermally conductive and electrically insulative poly(decamethylene terephthalamide)(PA10T) composites were prepared using an instantagglomerated boron nitride (BN) powder and a microspheric magnesia (MgO) powder as fillers. A few amount of chopped glass fiber was loaded to improve the strength. Keeping the total filler loading of chopped glass fiber and fillers at 10 wt % and 60 wt % respectively, the effect of the weight ratio of BN to MgO on the thermally conductive and mechanical properties as well as flow abilities of the composites was studied. It was observed that the two thermally conductive fillers had an enormously synergistic effect on the thermal conductivity when the weight ratio of BN to MgO was 20 to 40. In this case, the throughplane thermal conductivity was as high as 3.5 W/m·K. A higher weight ratio of BN to MgO usually led to poorer mechanical and flowing properties.
