摘要: 以氢氧化镁(MH)与微胶囊红磷(MRP)作为聚苯乙烯(PS)的阻燃协效剂,制备了PS/MH/MRP复合材料。通过极限氧指数、垂直燃烧、热重分析测试和力学性能测试,研究了阻燃剂含量对复合材料阻燃性能与力学性能的影响。结果表明,复合材料的阻性能随阻燃剂的含量的增加而缓慢上升,力学性能则呈现相反规律;当阻燃剂含量达到60份(质量份,下同)时,复合材料的极限氧指数提高到25 %,燃烧后形成表面光滑的稳定炭层。

Abstract: In this paper, polystyrene (PS)-based flame-retardant compounds were prepared by incorporation of magnesium hydroxide (MH) and microencapsulated red phosphorus (MRP) as flame-retardant additives. The effect of the two flame-retardant additives on flame-retardant and mechanical properties of PS was investigated by limiting oxygen index, vertical burning tests, thermal analysis and mechanical measurements. The results indicated that the flame-retardant properties were improved with an increase of the content of flame-retardant additives, but the mechanical properties tended to decline. The limiting oxygen index was improved by 25 % compared with that of pure resin when 60 phr of flame-retardant additives was introduced, and the compound revealed a compact char layer after combustion.
