Abstract: Polypropyleneacrylonitrile graft compolymer(PPgAN) was grafted onto polypropylene. Aging resistance of PP/PPgAN was studied using SEM and FTIR. QUV was used to speedup aging of the materials for 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 h. It showed that PP/PPgAN had an improved aging resistance. When the PPgAN content was 7 %, the tensile strength of modified materials reached a maximum of 19.87 MPa and an impact strength of 60.46 kJ/m2 after accelerated aging 2500 h.
