Research Progress in Flame Retardation and Smoke Suppression of Poly(vinyl chloride) Modified by Aluminium Hydroxide

Abstract

Abstract: The research progress in flame retardancy and smoke suppression of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)using aluminum hydroxide and its complex system in recent years was reviewed in this paper. Several types of cooperative flame retardant agents and smoke suppression agents were discussed. In addition, some inorganic radiationresistant and antibacterial modifiers were introduced.
