Engineering Application Research of Glass Fiber Reinforced Composite Materials

Abstract

Abstract: The characteristics and forming process of glass fiber reinforced composites (GFRP) were introduced.The engineering application of GFRP as wind turbine blades，wind turbine couplings，leaf springs，polyurethane sleepers，and multifunction track boards were introduced．In the end，the development trend of GFRP composites and prospect of new engineering applications in the rail transit and automobile industry was discussed.
