Progress in Synthesis and Applications of Polyester Plasticizers

Abstract

Abstract:

This paper reviewed the latest research progress in synthesis and applications of polyester plasticizers at home and abroad, which mainly focused on the synthesis and preparation methods of hyperbranched, bio?based, and petroleum?based polyester plasticizers. The paper also introduced the latest research progress in the applications of the different types of polyester plasticizers for poly(vinyl chloride), starch, polylactic acid, polyurethane elastomers and rubber products. Finally, the development direction of polyester plasticizers in future was prospected.
