Abstract: Biodegradable poly(lactic acid) samples were prepared by 3D printing. The effect of printing conditions on the impact strength, tensile strength and modulus, and elongation at break of the samples was studied. It was found that with increasing filling density, the impact strength, tensile strength and modulus increased but the elongation at break decreased after an initial increase. With increasing print speed, tensile properties increased, the impact strength and elongation at break decreased. With increasing print temperature, impact strength and tensile properties increased, the elongation at break decreased. The sample provided the best comprehensive performance when the filling density was 70 %, the print speed was 100 mm/s, the print temperature was 210 ℃.
