Research progress in nanofiber membranes for polymer-based lithium batteries

Abstract: This paper reviewed the working principle, influence conditions of electrospinning technology and the development status of polymer nanofiber separators for the use in lithium batteries by this technology at home and abroad, mainly including polymethylmethacrylate, polysulfonamide, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinylidene fluoride, and other polymer nanofiber separators. The characteristics and properties of various polymer separators were also introduced. Finally, the development direction of separators prepared through electrospinning was prospected.
