Abstract: This paper introduced the materials, technology, equipments, working principle，and self-reinforcement mechanism in biaxial-drawing process. The influence of biaxial-drawing on the performance of pipes was discussed. Based on date analysis, it was proposed that the orientation may result in enhanced strength and toughness of pipes with smaller wall thickness.
