Storage Characterization and Quality Control on Prepreg Tape of Carbon Fiber(T700)/Polytriazole

Abstract

Abstract: The physicochemical behavior of prepreg tape of carbon fiber(T700)/polytriazole resin at different storage time and conditions was studied by IR and GPC. With injcreasing storage time, the molecular weight of the resin, insoluble species content, and triazole ring content increased, but the volatile component decreased. The prepreg tape should be refrigerated or frozen in order to extend the use period for large scale preparation.
