N-(取代苯基)-N'-氰乙酰脲对PVC的热稳定作用——性能递变规律与机理

Heat Stabilization of N-(Substituted Phenyl)-N′-Cyanoacetylureas on PVC—Progressive Change Law of Performance and Mechanism

摘要: 用烘箱变色法研究了几种N-(取代苯基)-N′-氰乙酰脲对聚氯乙烯(PVC)的热稳定作用,结果表明,N-(取代苯基)-N′-氰乙酰脲均具有初效型主热稳定剂的热稳定特性,与硬脂酸钙(CaSt2)和环氧大豆油并用存在着明显的协同效应;N-(取代苯基)-N′-氰乙酰脲的热稳定性能随其分子中与脲亚胺基相连基团的拉电子性的增强而提高;根据其热稳定性能递变规律推测出N-(取代苯基)-N′-氰乙酰脲通过其羰基C原子作为亲电原子与PVC发生亲电反应而发挥热稳定作用,传统的Frye和Horst理论不适用于N-(取代苯基)-N′-氰乙酰脲。

Abstract: The heat stabilization of several N-(substituted phenyl)-N′-cyanoacetylureas on PVC was studied by oven discoloration method.It was found that the N-(substituted phenyl)-N′-cyanoacetylureas gave rise to an initialstage heat stabilization and a remarkable synergitic effect with calcium stearate and epoxidized soybean oil.The heat stabilizing performance of N-(substituted phenyl) -N′-cyanoacetylureas improved with increasing electrondrawing ability of the group linked to the urea’s imino group,based on which a progressive change law of heat stabilizing was deduced that the N-(substituted phenyl)-N′-cyanoacetylureas stabilized PVC by electrophilic reaction with PVC using their carbonyl carbon atoms as an electrophilic atom.This meant that the traditional Frye and Horst’s theory on mechanism of heat stabilization of heat stabilizers did not apply to N-(substituted phenyl)-N′-cyanoacetylureas,and therefore,the exact mechanism of heat stabilization needs to be clarified by further research.
