Study on Synthesis of Novel Phosphoruscontaining Epoxy Resin Prepolymer and Its Curing Process

Abstract

Abstract: Through the reaction in a system of 2methy2,5dioxo1,2oxaphospholane(OP)/mdihydroxybenzene/epoxy resin, a prepolymer was obtained. This phosphoruscontaining epoxy resin prepolymer could be selfcured. The product had good flame retardant properties. The limited oxygen index of cured epoxy resin was 25.0 %，vertical combustion test reach UL94 V0 level.
