十溴二苯乙烷协同芳纶纤维增强阻燃聚丙烯复合材料的性能研究

Study on Properties of Polypropylene Composites Reinforced and Flame Retarded by Decabromodiphenyl Ethane and Aramid Fibers

摘要: 以十溴二苯乙烷三氧化二锑(DBDPESb2O3,DS)为阻燃剂,芳纶纤维(AF)为增强材料,制备了阻燃增强PP复合材料,同时研究了AF和DS对PP复合材料力学、阻燃、热稳定性能和断面形貌的影响。结果表明,PP/AF/DS的拉伸强度、弯曲强度和缺口冲击强度较PP分别提高了41 %、48 %和117 %,垂直燃烧达V0级。此外,AF和DS在提高残炭量和热稳定性及降低热释放量方面都表现出良好的协同效应,而AF体现出较好的抗融滴作用。

Abstract: Polypropylene composites were prepared using decabromodiphenyl ethaneantimony trioxide (DBDPESb2O3, DS) as a flame retardant and aramid fibers (AF) as a reinforcer. The effect of AF and DS on mechanical properties, flame retardancy, fracture microstructure, and thermal stability of the composites was studied. It was found that the tensile, flexural, and izod notched impact strengths were increased by 41 %, 48 %, and 17 %, respectively, compared with neat PP. Moreover, a synergistic effect was observed on the decrease of total heat release. AF displayed a positive effect on dripping resistance.
