Abstract: A technical scheme of double-color injection molding was presented, aimed to produce TV front cabinets on a regular injector. An auxiliary screw was added on the regular injector and the injection mold was improved. A movable core was introduced into the structure double-color mold. With a special ejector plate, dozens of bosses with varying heights inside a double-color cabinet could be injected smoothly. Although the skin layer of the cabinet was molded with transparent material, no optical defect was detectable with naked eyes. The scheme has been adopted in mass production and has gained good effects.
