Abstract: Melt blending was employed to prepare poly(phenvlene sulfide)/epoxy resin composites(PPS/EPOs).The effect of epoxy on the structure of PPS/EPOs was investigated via rhcological method .The results indicate that chemical crosslinking occurred on PPS matrix during blending process and the crosslinking degree increases with increasing of epoxy loadings. As a result, the dynamic modulus of the composites increases remarkably, presenting non-terminal effects at low frequencies. Moreover, the sensitivity to the steady shears decreases and the linear viscoclastic range extends due to presence of crosslinking network in the composites.
