磷杂菲与三嗪三酮双基协同阻燃聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯织物的研究

Study on Flame Retardancy of Polyester Textiles Flame-retarded by a Compound Containing Phosphaphenanthrene and Triazine-trione Groups

摘要: 将自制磷杂菲与三嗪三酮双基协同阻燃剂(TGD)采用背面涂覆的方法应用于阻燃聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯织物(T),通过极限氧指数和垂直燃烧测试、热失重分析、锥形量热分析、元素分析等方法研究了阻燃聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯织物的性能并探讨了阻燃机理。结果表明,当TGD在阻燃聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯织物中的质量分数为8.1 %时,织物的极限氧指数值可达23.9 %;TGD可明显缩短织物的燃烧长度并伴有自熄;热释放速率峰值(Rpk-HRR),平均有效燃烧热(Hav-EHC),总热释放(HTHR),平均CO2释放量(Rav-CO2)等随着TGD含量的增加而降低,而平均CO释放量(Rav-CO)和总烟释放量(RTSR)会随着TGD含量的增加而升高;TGD在气相凝具相上均有明显的阻燃作用。

Abstract: A self-made flame retardant containing phosphaphenanthrene and triazine-trione groups (TGD) was used to enhance the flame retardancy of polyester textiles by a back coating method, and the flame-retardant properties of resulting textiles was investigated intensively by limited oxygen index, UL 94 vertical burning experiment and cone calorimeter measurement. The results indicated that the incorporation of TGD could improve the flame-retardant properties of the textiles. When 8.1 wt % of TGD was introduced, the textiles achieved a limited oxygen index of 23.9 %, and it also exhibited a shorter burning distance and self-extinguishment in the vertical burning test. Meanwhile, the peak value of heat release rate, average effective heat of combustion, total heat release rate, and average CO2 yields of the textiles all decreased with an increase of TGD content. However, the average CO yields and total smoke release revealed a rise with increasing mass fraction of TGD. The data obtained from cone calorimeter measurement also confirmed an obvious flame-retardant effect in gas phase by using TGD. Morphology of residual char obtained from vertical burning test indicated that TGD also generated a condensed phase flame-retardant effect because of the increased char yields.
