Hexphenoxycyclotriphosphazene as a Flame Retardant for Polycarbonate and Its Decomposition Mechanism

摘要: 将六苯氧基环三磷睛(HPGP)作为阻燃剂添加到聚碳酸醋(PC)中。极限氧指数测试和垂直燃烧测试结果显示,添加20份(质量份,下同)HPCP后,PC极限氧指数可从23. 5%增加至30.5%,垂直燃烧到达V-0级。通过热重(TG)以及热重一质谱CTG MSS联用仪分析了HPCP的阻燃机理,加人HPCP可以抑制PC在热解时因重排而生成羧基的数量。力学性能测试表明HPCP对PC的拉伸强度影响不大,但是添加20份H PCP后,冲击强度降低为纯PC的53. 84%。

Abstract: Abstract: Hexphenoxycyclotriphosphazene(HPCP)was introduced into polycarhonate(PC ) as a flame retardant. When the loading of HPCP was 15 and 20 phr, the LOI of the material was 23.%and 30.%,respectively, and a UI, 94 rating V-0 was obtained. The generation of carboxyl groups during the rearrangement of PC chain was inhibited by the addition of HPCP. The tensile strength of PC was little affected with addition of HPCP,whereas,impact strength decreased to 53. 84%of pure PC when 20 phr was added.
